I love Jackson State as they played some teams that are on the same level as Miss State in their non conference schedule such as Alabama, Memphis, Nebraska, and Baylor.
It's pretty clear that Miss State is upset they are in the NIT where Jackson State is just where it wants to be. Although they are huge under dogs here today. Miss State is playing their 4th game in 5 days, and they lost in the championship game against Kentucky that would have sent them to the NCAA tournament. Many thought they still should have went, but instead they got snubbed most likely because a few teams won their conference tournament that nobody expected such as Houston.
